Attorney Ellyn J. Bullock is a civil litigator in addition to practicing in adoption law.  She often represents children.  She has represented many children who were victims of teacher-on-student or student-on-student sexual harassment. John Doe v. Brady Smith, et al., 470 F.3d 331 (7th Cir. 2006)
In this appeal to the federal Seventh Circuit, Ellyn represented a victim of teacher-on-student sexual abuse, John Doe. Ellyn's victory on appeal gave her client and other child sexual abuse victims the right to call other victims of the same pedophile teacher as witnesses in their trials. Giving victims the right to bring in evidence of other acts of teacher-on-student sexual abuse gives the victims more power and credibility. There is strength in numbers!

Jane Doe-3 v. McLean School District, et al. (Ill. App. 4th Dist. 2011)
In this appeal to the Illinois Appellate Court, Ellyn represented a victim of teacher-on-student sexual abuse, Jane Doe-3. Ellyn's victory on appeal gave her client and other child sexual abuse victims the right to sue a School District that intentionally "passes" a known pedophile teacher to another school while fraudulently concealing the knowledge of the teacher's pedophilia. The secret "passing" of pedophiles is horribly dangerous to the school children in the new school as pedophilia is serial and predatory.

General No. 04-09-0912, In re: Adoption of S.G.
In this appeal to the Illinois Appellate Court, Ellyn represented foster parents seeking to adopt. The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services had consented to the foster parents' adoption but birth relatives contested the adoption. Ellyn was able to uphold her clients' right to adopt the foster child they loved and cared for in their family. After this successful appeal, Ellyn finalized the family's adoption of their daughter.

General No. 04-09-0939, In re: Adoption of E.M.
In this appeal to the Illinois Appellate Court, Ellyn represented a family seeking to adopt an infant placed in their family by the Birth Mother at birth. The Birth Father contested the adoption from prison. Ellyn was able to secure her clients' right to adopt their baby.
